Some questions about Thai Airlines...?
Hi! I'm flying Thai Airlines LAX-BKK on their A340-500 soon, and I want to know some things before I go:
1. Do they have mood lighting on that aircraft?
2. How is the food, the AVOD (audio/video on demand) and the service in general?
3. How's their Premium Economy? I'm flying Premium Economy class, as Royal Silk is a bit out of my budget but I wanted an upgrade from economy.
4. How beautiful are the flight attendants? LOL 
One note: I'm used to flying domestic economy on Delta, so try to base it off of that. I personally think that Delta sucks crap. (excuse my french)
Btw, the first guy had a great answer, but I'm waiting a bit to see if there is more info to be learned. I can't wait for the mood lighting. One thing: there is no royal orchid first class. Just royal first class. There's also no royal first class on their a340-500s. Only royal silk (business) class. Okay. Keep giving me great answers people! Udabest!
1. Yes Thai Airways has ambient mood lighting on board their A340-500's.
2. If you like Thai food, Thai offers AUTHENTIC thai dishes as well as western food which are decent too. Their service is not the best. No airline is perfect, but from what I've seen their service is pretty good (been on this flight before). Their AVOD is great.
3. Never been on Premium Economy. I fly on Royal Orchid First on that flight.
