Cocoa butter creams are good for the skin but what about cocoa butter soap???
I know that Cocoa butter is suppose to be good for the skin, but what about cocoa butter soap? Im talking about a natural cocoa butter soap. What are some natural cocoa butter soaps that are inexpensive, and keeps the skin moisturized and soft. Anybody who knows anything about cocoa butter feel free to share.
There are a few brands of Cocoa Butter soap that I have tried. One is called "Tone" which I think is manufactured by the same company that makes Zest or Dial. Tone soaps contain Cocoa Butter, but are not as moisturizing as some other brands. I don't see Tone soap in the stores as much as I did when I was younger. I think that their different body washes are now more popular, but I think that they contain even less Cocoa Butter than the bars of soap do. I have tried another brand of Cocoa Butter soap that I think is made by a company called "Good Earth", and it wasn't drying. It is sold in a yellow/ dark brown box with the words Cocoa Butter written across the front in large letters. There are also a few other brands around, but I don't know much about them. Try to look for the Good Earth brand. Their bars of Cocoa Butter soap are usually sold individually, as opposed to coming in a pack with several bars like most major brands do. I have found Good Earth at drug stores like CVS. I think that The Body Shop also sells a soap made with Cocoa Butter. I haven't shopped there for awhile, but when I bought their soap last time, and I really liked it. I remember that one of the soaps I bought from them was made with Shea Butter. It smelled similar to Cocoa Butter and gave me good results just like the Good Earth soap did. I hope you can find the products I mentioned. You may have to visit a few different stores, because I don't know that they are sold everywhere (except for The Body Shop; they always have a wide variety of soaps). Good luck.
