I REALLY messed up in the altar!!?
so, I'm an altar server at Church. I did quite badly today. the other altar server was not there, so I had to do what he useually does. I admit, my priest got VERY testy with me! he could have just said "hold the incense", but, instead, he walks to the stand and censes a cloth. He gave me this feeling that made me ask myself "then why am I here?!"
now, I have a HUGE headache over this. I can't stop thinking about it. I am really in a bad mood. this is going to ruin my entire week!
how can I get this off of my mind?! I mean, I tried my best, and I haven't ever done that stuff before. my priest could be a bit more patient with me. perhapse he didn't know I hadn't donw those things before?
go to him and discuss this directly vs. venting to strangers. don't keep beating yourself up over what you cannot change as that is a monumental waste of energy...
let it go...go for a walk, go for a run...read a book...go to a movie....take your mind somewhere else...
