What would be a good Interactive Hands-on activity to teach my class about 'infinity'?
In my pre-calc class, my teacher required for us to make a power point presentation that includes a hands-on activity with the class. I need more creative Ideas because my idea right now is to give the class problems that involve infinity. The people that have already present are so much better than mine.
May I ask how I can incorporate the mobius strip while I'm talking about infinity?
Take a piece of chalk and use it to draw the symbol (in a very large manner) for infinity on the classroom floor. Have the class line up on the line and walk it. Tell them to keep following it around until you tell them to stop.
Don't ever tell them to stop. They will get the idea of what infinity is.
