Herbal supplement for ADHD?

I have a 5 year old son who has been diagonosed with ADHD as of yesterday. The Dr. has prescribed Focalin XR 5mg once a day. I am stressing so much over giving him drugs. He is having a hard time concentrating in school and he may be held back if he doesn't do better.
