Where in the Bay Area of San Francisco can I buy ayurvedic herbs? (Shikakai, Bhringraj, etc. ..)?
I'm looking specifically for amla / amalaki, shikakai, Aritha / Reeth, brahmi and Bhringraj / maka (in all forms of whole or ground - not mixed in oils). I know where to find them online but I heard that they can be much cheaper in Indian grocery stores. I live in Santa Rosa, and it does not seem to have here, but ... Has anyone found these herbs around the bay north? I hope I can avoid driving on a chase around the wild goose for discount to end up paying the same amount of gas anyway ... Best answer lol goes to whoever can give me more info - store locations, which herbs I can find, price range, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
