help on history homework pleeeeease;?
*it's on hinduism, about the bhagavad gita.
does krishna justify war in general or only arjuna's duty to fight this battle? explain why.

The war of Mahabharata was not an ordinary war... it was a battle fought to re-establish Dharma (righteousness) over evil forces of adharma (lawlessness)! Such a war precedes circumstances as ripe today. Such a battle occurs once in every 3500 to 5000 years. Such a battle precedes coming of a messiah... an avatar of an era (God manifest in human form)!
When society becomes standstill... when ethics and morality take back seat... in such times coming of a messiah... an avatar is necessitated! The world cannot do without it. Re-establishing of Dharma (righteousness) becomes an absolute must. In such circumstances even a man God like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed would fail.
An avatar is a combination of a man God coupled with powers of Chanakya... the most able administrator in the history of mankind! Chanakya ruthlessly eliminated hundred kings in one day. To save lives of millions of citizens and soldiers fighting across borders... such an act did not incur any sin as stated in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata has no precedent! It forms the summum bonum of spirituality... epitome of spiritual pursuit! Following dictates in Bhagavad Gita any human being world over can become a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed... an enlightened one in all its glory!
In the entire history of mankind India has not attacked any country even once! In the circumstances how could teachings of Bhagavad Gita be termed mala fide... having a vested interest! Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata gave preaching’s of Bhagavad Gita to King Arjuna to lift arms against evil forces that dominated at the time!
It is through teachings of Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna emphasized on King Arjuna to fight the enemy head-on! Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita stated that life truly belonged to our soul atman... the spirit within and never the human form! It was our soul atman... the spirit within that manifested human form to work out its karma... remove dross impurities within!
As a king Arjuna was duty-bound to fight the enemy. It is prime duty of a King to save the country from enemy at the front! Exhorted Lord Krishna... not wanting to fight the enemy was showing cowardice which was never expected and unbecoming of a king like Arjuna! As per Lord Krishna essence of life lay beyond the physical manifest body made of flesh.
As stated in Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna... our soul atman... the spirit within is the absolute master and controller of human body and not vice versa! It is not within the capability of human body to manifest a soul atman! Our soul atman being the absolute governor of life...
