If I drink a ton of green tea, will I lose a ton of weight?

Basically, I know drinking green tea speeds metabolism and helps you lose weight. 3-5 cups a day is optimal. So my question is this: is drinking as much green tea in a day as I can good for me? If I drink 2000-3000 milliliters a day, is it amazing for me? Or is it bad for me? The only thing that is in it on the nutrition label is 70 mg of salt. No calories or carbs or anything else.

Too much sodium and nothing else - if you do lose weight you will guaranteed gain it back on a normal diet
